Laurie Bunn Road Safety Award for outstanding achievement
Laurie Bunn was a member of Barking and Dagenham Council for many years and as a result of that became actively involved in the LAPC. He was a Vice President and had held the positions of both Chair of Council and Chair of Executive Committee.
The Laurie Bunn Award was initiated in 2003 as a way of marking the outstanding contribution he made to LAPC and road safety in London, and a way of continuing his distinctive style of saying "well done".
The awards are presented to the winners during the Annual General Meeting in July.
To London Road Safety Officers
We are willing to consider nominations in respect of individuals, groups, or teams of people for this award and whilst there will only be one award made on the day of the AGM/Annual Conference, it is our practice to invite and celebrate the achievements of all of the nominees, in front of those attending.
